House Burglary - Near You - Ashbourne Road, Bolton and Undercliffe, BD2

Dear Resident,

Residents are being advised to remain vigilant following a burglary that occurred between 6:00 pm on Thursday 2 July 2026 and 10:00 pm on Friday 3 July 2026.

Unknown suspect/s gained entry to a property by snapping the lock on a rear uPVC door before forcing the door open and damaging an internal sash jammer. Once inside, an untidy search of the property was carried out and cash was stolen.

Residents are encouraged to review any CCTV, doorbell camera, or dashcam footage covering the relevant period and remain alert to any suspicious activity in their neighbourhood.

To help protect your home, please remember to:

Ensure doors and windows are locked and secure.

Consider fitting anti-snap locks to uPVC doors.

Keep cash and valuables out of sight.

Report any suspicious activity immediately via 101, or 999 in an emergency.
